Renaissance Marie Austin is an American creative born in Los Angeles, California. She discovered her amazing singing talent in the third grade when she sang "This Little Light of Mine" in front of her class for show and tell.
Renaissance studied dance and theater, and became a Soul Train dancer at the age of 16. She sang with choirs and ensembles for film and television and behind artists such as Jackson Browne, Michael Buble, Christian McBride, Geoffrey Keezer, and was a professional singer at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch.
As a background actress she worked on various shows such as Scandal, Criminal Minds, American Auto, Saved By the Bell, The Morning Show, Grey's Anatomy, Abbot Elementary, and other projects.
Renaissance Austin received her degree in Fine Arts - General Music - Applied Music Vocal Performance and her Certificate in Commercial Music Business and Electronic Music Production through Avid Learning Schools. She is currently writing and producing songs independently and is an advocate for music, arts & culture and environmental & social justice.
